Let's All Stay on the Job!

Hello! This has been a 5 year battle, BUT we finally won. We do need to stay on top of both properties so they will keep their yards and sidewalks CLEAN!   The garage belonged to the yellow house which technically has a 210/212 Camp Street address.  The yellow house on Camp was the house in court over the garage.

124 Grand View has been cited numerous times but they do not seem to get it.  I have a meeting tomorrow with a woman named Daisy. Daisy works in the environmental department and is coming to my house so that I may take her to see 124 grand view and the mess they have and to show her additional areas of concern.  If anyone has a particular area they would like noted, that I may not be aware of, just leave a comment on here and I will take Daisy there also.  I am meeting with her at 2pm on Friday April 23@ 230pm.

Other than that we can ALL keep calling the mayors office of neighborhood services at 401-421-7768 or the environmental police at 401-467-7950.  The more calls we, as a neighborhood, make the better off we will be and the FASTER things will move.  Thank you to everyone who has had a hand in getting this mess cleaned up.  Now lets ALL stay on the property owners and the city to ensure the properties STAY CLEAN!!

Kudos for getting off yer derriere, Dennis, and doing something.

In all fairness to those folks on upper Grandview, the house that looks like it was moved from Applachia and plopped down in Mt. Hope, they did respond to the City's citations by cleaning up their trash on the lot next door and off the street in front of their house.

I'm wondering if maybe they don't even know better. But just being aware of how other people around them try to keep their properties looking nice should be enough. And the fact that the City keeps citing them. I really am at a loss as to how to communicate to these folks that their junkyard lifestyle in not acceptable in Providence. It's against the codes and ordinances.

Take that women up to 209 Camp and show her the doors propped up against the windows and the rear of the house. then show her the junk on Camp outside the ministries.

As of May 20th I am still waiting to hear from Daisy in the environmental office. I have left her 3 messages requesting follow up information. I know she is a busy woman, however I am still staying on her until I get satisfactory answers.
Just an F.Y.I for those who care.
Again, if there is any other property or area of concern that anyone else may have which I am not aware of please leave a comment here and I will add it to my list for Daisy.

Thank you
